Benedict Labré House
On Sunday January 12th ,Ascension will be providing and serving food for approximately 150 people less fortunate than us. We do this by pre-making a meal and dessert. Along with this we serve soup, bread and juice.

The weekend of January 4th/5th  we will be supplying pans and recipes for the meal and dessert. If you are unable to prepare something, we gladly accept cash donations to buy the other items. We also require a small number of volunteers to assist in the serving.
For additional information, please contact Aletha Thompson at 514-482-5660.

Advent Mass of Concern
Have you shared in the parish Advent project by contributing to our Mass of Concern?  Many of our less fortunate neighbours depend on our help for money to purchase food and other necessities at Christmas as well as throughout the year. Donation envelopes for this good work of the parish are still available at the doors of the church.  Thank you for your generosity.

  Save the Date
On Sunday afternoon February 23rd, our  Parish Choir will present a concert of Sacred Music to “sooth the soul” and help us enter into the season of Lent.

Rock, Paper, Chisel – The Crèche in Essence Exhibition St. Joseph’s Oratory
Visit the brand new Christmas exhibit called Rock, Paper, Chisel – The Crèche in Essence at the Museum of Saint Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal. You’ll discover nativity scenes made mostly out of rocks and paper, using various tools. Young and old can admire the work of artisans from Québec and elsewhere who have used their talent and imagination to create representations embodying the very essence of the manger: the birth of the infant Jesus. In addition to these, there is a rotating selection of crèches from around the world, in all, over 200 crèches coming from over 100 countries.
