The Ascension of Our Lord is pleased to participate once more in the Religious Heritage Days September 9 and 10, 2023.
The Church will be open to visitors on:
Saturday, September 9 from 10am to 2pm
Sunday, September 10 from 11:30 to 3pm
Annum per Annum – Patrimoine Concert
on Saturday, September 9 at 1pm
Joel Peters, Organist and Choir Director, will give a 30-minute concert for voice, viola and organ, featuring works by J.S. Bach, Arvo Pärt, Florence Price and Alexander Scriabin, featuring violist and soprano, Mayu Egan.
There is no charge for the concert — free will offerings are welcome.
A booklet has been created detailing the Church and its place in the architectural church history of Quebec, the particularly unique characteristics of its original Casavant organ, as well as the stained glass windows.

In addition, representatives of the parish community will be on site to welcome visitors and answer any questions they may have.

L’Église sera ouverte aux visiteurs comme suit :

samedi 9 septembre à 13h
Joel Peters, organiste et chef de chœur, donnera un concert de 30 minutes pour voix, alto et orgue, mettant en vedette des œuvres de J.S. Bach, Arvo Pärt, Florence Price et Alexander Scriabin, avec l’altiste et soprano Mayu Egan.
Le concert est gratuit — les offrandes sont les bienvenues.
