Celebrating a historic milestone
For 100 years, Ascension of Our Lord Parish has been rooted in prayer, enriched by music, and strengthened by community.
We launched our yearlong celebration with a Centennial Opening Mass on
Sunday, May 24th, 2026
with Presider & Homilist Father Raymond Lafontaine, E.V.
and concelebrant, our pastor Father Lawrence Mac Eachen followed by a vin d’honneur.
We look forward to many more occasions to celebrate in community this year.

MASS INTENTIONS
An April 2025 Vatican decree permits priests to accept multiple separate intentions and stipends for a single mass, known as “collective intentions” for both the Sunday and weekday mass.
These intentions will be published in the parish bulletin or on the parish website.
When a person requests a mass to be celebrated in the parish, he or she will be informed of this arrangement.
Food Bank Donation
We have a tradition in our parish to support the hungry on a more continuous basis. Over 860,000 Canadians visit food banks every month, with over 36% of the donations feeding hungry children.
