The entire month of May is devoted to honouring the Blessed Virgin Mary. CCCB President, the Most Reverend Richard Gagnon says, “May is the month dedicated in a special way to the Mother of Christ. We believe that she is, in a spiritual but real sense, our mother too. We turn to her and ask for the help of her powerful and maternal prayers to God for us. To consecrate ourselves to Mary means to be united with her in entrusting our lives entirely to God.”

On April 25, Pope Francis asked all Catholics to pray the Rosary during the month of May, asking for Mary’s intercession in stopping the coronavirus pandemic.

The Archdiocese is offering a free gift of Rosary prayer beads to anyone who asks during the month of May.

Food Bank Donation

We have a new tradition in our parish to support the hungry on a more continuous basis. Over 860,000 Canadians visit food banks every month, with over 36% of the donations feeding hungry children.

During the COVID‑19 isolation, please leave your items in a bag at the door of the rectory. Donations will be delivered to St. Willibrord’s parish food bank.
