Churches allowed to open for worship

Beginning on Monday, February 21st, the Vaccine Passport is no longer required as you enter the church. Masks are still mandatory.

On February 28th, Houses of Worship are permitted to open up to full capacity, with mask wearing, and hand sanitizing.

This is very good news, and we welcome it with great relief.

Gone to her Eternal Home

Dr. Linda Wiltshire, Pastoral Associate at Ascension of Our Lord Parish, died on Monday, January 31st, following a number of months of illness and hospitalization.

Linda was in charge of our Children’s Catechism Program for many years.

Her funeral will be held when we are permitted to gather in a larger number.

May she rest in peace.

Envelope Users

For those parishioners who use the Envelope system for their Sunday offering, your box for 2022 is ready to be picked up.
They have been placed in alphabetical order on the table at the back of the church.

Please note that your box number may have changed this year, as we issue lower numbers when they are available.

If you do not use a box but would like to begin, please speak with the priest to receive your box.

Food Bank Donation

We have a new tradition in our parish to support the hungry on a more continuous basis. Over 860,000 Canadians visit food banks every month, with over 36% of the donations feeding hungry children.
