Election of wardens

On Sunday, December 3rd, following the 10:30 a.m. mass, there will be a Meeting of the Parishioners for the purpose of electing two Wardens to replace the two who are completing their terms on December 31, 2023.
All parishioners are welcome to attend.

Mr Pino Di Ioia is completing his second term as a warden, and Mr Edmund Nash is completing his first term.

Any parishioner who is registered in the parish, 18 years of age and living in the boundaries of the parish can be elected to the Board of Wardens.
The term is for 3 years, renewable once.
The wardens assist the pastor in caring for the financial and temporal affairs of the parish. Each candidate must agree to be a candidate, and requires someone to nominate him or her.

Please note the date of this Meeting.
Thank you.

Mass of Concern

On the weekend of November 25-26th, and the weekend of December 2-3, 2023, we will have our annual Mass of Concern mass and collection.

Many of our less fortunate neighbours depend on our help for money to purchase food and other necessities at Christmas and throughout the year.

Our parish receives many requests for assistance, and we support many Groups assisting the needy, such as Share the Warmth, two soup kitchens, The Open Door, Chez Doris, and others.

For those of our parishioners who use the Envelope system for your weekly donation to the parish, there is an envelope in the box for Mass of Concern, and special envelopes for all others will be available in the Church.

We are so grateful for your generosity.

Book of Remembrance

During the Month of November there will be a Book in the Church where you can write down the names of all those you would like us to remember at mass in our prayers?

May all the souls of the Faithful Departed rest in peace.

Food Bank Donation

We have a new tradition in our parish to support the hungry on a more continuous basis. Over 860,000 Canadians visit food banks every month, with over 36% of the donations feeding hungry children.
