Christmas Flowers

The Christmas festivities are about to begin, and as always we decorate the Sanctuary and Church to celebrate the Nativity of the Lord.

If you would like to make a donation to purchase the flowers and decorations, there are envelopes at the entrance of the Church for your contribution.
Please take an envelope, write on the envelope your prayer intention or for those whom you wish us to remember in prayer, and we will pray for your intentions.

We very much appreciate your generosity and support.

Envelopes

For those parishioners who use the envelope system for your weekly contribution, your 2025 box is ready to be picked up at the back of the church.

The boxes have been placed in alphabetical order.

If someone would like to begin using envelopes, please speak with the priest and he will provide you with a box and number.

Christmas Concert

The Christmas concert which took place at Ascension on Sunday, December 8th was a great success, and enjoyed by the many who attended.

Thank you to our Choir Master Joel Peters who directed the choir and who selected the repertoire and organized the musicians who performed.

Special word of gratitude to our wonderful Choir members, and all the soloists who sang so beautifully, including our young Mc Gill students.

We are grateful to the parishioners who organized the reception following the concert, particularly:
Anna Romano
Barbara Cefis
Patricia Smith
David Barrington
Louise Mac Lellan
and all who baked goodies for the table.

We are appreciative of the assistance given by:
Monica Ag
Jean Enright
Damian Smith
and those who did fundraising:
Anna Romano,
Bonnie Auger
Barbara Cefis
Donat Taddeo
and all who acted as ushers for the event.

To all our advertisers, our benefactors and various people who made a contribution to fund the concert, including many of our parishioners and friends of the parish, we are indebted to all.

Our Parish Advent Project

Have you shared in the parish Advent project by contributing to our Mass of Concern?

Many of our less fortunate neighbours depend on our help for money to purchase food and other necessities at Christmas as well as throughout the year.

Our parish contributes food and other things weekly to several food banks and organizations that help the poor and needy.

Envelopes can be found at the entrances of the church for your donation.

We are very grateful for your generosity.

Food Bank Donation

We have a tradition in our parish to support the hungry on a more continuous basis. Over 860,000 Canadians visit food banks every month, with over 36% of the donations feeding hungry children.
