WARDEN’S ELECTION
On Sunday, December 7th, following the Sunday mass, there will be a gathering of parishioners in the church, with the purpose of electing two wardens to replace the two who are completing their terms.
Nominations will be open, and anyone residing in the boundary of the parish, 18 years of age can be nominated.

CHRISTMAS FLOWERS
At Ascension Parish there is a tradition of parishioners making a donation to help purchase flowers and decorations to decorate our church for the Christmas season.
Envelopes are available at the back of the church for your donation. Please put your name on the envelope, indicate your envelope box number, and the person(s) or you wish to remember or the intention that you want us to pray for throughout the Christmas season.
We appreciate your generosity.

This weekend, November 22-23rd is the annual Mass of Concern.
We ask for your contribution to help us in providing assistance to those in need, especially at Christmas.
The parish assists numerous organizations and groups, as well as individuals with charity.
For those who use the envelope system for your contributions, an envelope is in your box. For others, envelopes are available at the back of the church for your donation. We gratefully appreciate your concern and generosity.
Food Bank Donation
We have a tradition in our parish to support the hungry on a more continuous basis. Over 860,000 Canadians visit food banks every month, with over 36% of the donations feeding hungry children.
