Dear Father MacEachen,

As the blessed Christmas season comes to a close with Epiphany, the wardens at Ascension of Our Lord Parish would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to you, on behalf of the entire parish community.

The Christmas season was much more quiet this year as you maintained strict compliance with official procedures on gatherings in the parish.

To facilitate Christmas celebration by all your parishioners and their loved ones, you undertook the considerable task of celebrating five masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. In addition, you also assisted in sanitizing the parish after each Mass to ensure the safety of all attending Holy Masses.

You are truly our Shepherd, guiding us in our Faith toward increased awareness of the light of Bethlehem. You draw us into worship with humility and the gift of joyful selflessness. We are deeply grateful for your tireless generosity and the great energy of love you provide to us, your community, at all times and especially, your care during the recent Christmas period.

We pray for the blessings of our Saviour Jesus Christ to be with you in 2021,
